Pheasants Forever Television Season 6 showing now on the Outdoor Channel - America's Leader in Outdoor TV

Pheasants Forever Television, produced by Ron Schara Productions, will be kicking off its sixth season on July 1st, 2010. Airing on Outdoor Channel, Pheasants Forever Television is a half-hour, weekly series hosted by legendary outdoor personality Ron Schara and his black Labrador "Raven," along with "The Man Afield," Bill Sherck. For the first time this season, Pheasants Forever Television will bring outdoor adventures into your home through high-definition television.

Pheasants Forever Television Personalities

Five-time Emmy winner Ron Schara is Pheasants Forever Television's host and executive producer. A Pheasants Forever Life Member and lifelong pheasant hunter and conservationist, Schara has spent over three decades as a champion of the outdoors through his various television and radio shows and work as an outdoor writer. With a story teller's angle and soft-spoken delivery, Schara is best known for his classic closing line, "Introduce a kid to the great outdoors." Joining Schara in hosting the show is his trusty black Lab, Raven.

Also bringing an outdoor passion to Pheasants Forever Television is Bill Sherck, known as "The Man Afield." An Emmy award-winning outdoor reporter and show host, Sherck has earned just about every award in the business for his unique style of storytelling.

Pheasants Forever Television was honored with the award for Best Bird Hunting Footage at Outdoor Channel's 9th Annual Golden Moose Awards in 2009. The Golden Moose Awards recognize and honor producers of the best outdoor programming appearing on Outdoor Channel during the previous year.
