Bigger and Better Than Ever

The best advice I can give you if you want to learn about finding, training and hunting with a canine companion is to take a trip to Pheasant Fest 2009. This year the event is held in Madison, Wisconsin and attendance is expected to be greater than ever before. If you love to hunt upland birds with your trusty bird dog, there is no better place to be February 6-8 than the Alliant Energy Center.

Bird Dog Bonanza

As at past events, Pheasant Fest offers many opportunities to find innovative products and training techniques for your dog. Don't have a bird dog yet? You can even find one of those from one of the many excellent breeders and trainers that will set up shop at the event. All the major breeds of bird dog will be represented at the show so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to see them all.

Tips From The Pros

Once again, the Bird Dog Bonanza stage will feature a full calendar of training seminars to provide you with the edge in training your dog to his maximum potential. Our Native Pro Staff will be well represented and will provide instruction in the following areas.

In case you're wondering, I'll be there too. You can find me and the rest of our Pro Staff Team at the Native booth and ready to answer any questions you might have about training or nutrition.

Support Conservation

It's not just about the dogs, though. Pheasant Fest is a great opportunity to show the whole family a good time and check out all the latest in hunting equipment and apparel. There is also no better way to show your support for conservation while learning about the most effective ways to keep the bird population where it needs to be. Make your travel plans today and don't forget to bring the kids. After all, conservation is as much about making sure we have birds for the hunters of tomorrow as it is about the hunting we'll do this year.
